As engineers and scientists, we just can't help it, our curiosity is always switched on! Whether it's how waves form, how clouds build, or how the stars help us navigate through the dark, we’re constantly analyzing, wondering, and trying to understand the world around us.

And we want to share that joy of discovery with you.

Our goal is to spark curiosity, fuel imagination, and quench the thirst for knowledge, not just for grown-ups, but for kids too. That’s why we’re also bringing stories to life through Enos, our sailing companion a curious little sea monkey exploring the world and unlocking its secrets, one adventure at a time.

If you want to join us on this journey of wonder and understanding, we’ve split our science adventures into three categories:

• The Science of the Sea: Dive into the physics behind waves, the rhythm of ocean currents, and how it all connects to life onboard.

• Wind, Clouds & Weather: Learn how sailboats sail, how sailors read the skies, and how wind and pressure shape our course.

• Stars, Moon & Navigation: Discover how tides connect to the moon, and how ancient navigation techniques meet modern science

We’re making it a journey for everyone, playful and accessible for kids, deep and fascinating for grown-ups. Our kids’ science adventures live in the Lightship Stories section and through our Sail Mail, where a new story sets sail every month.
